Net2Grid (N2G) Power Consulting Pty Ltd is a Perth based consultancy company which is the Australian agent for the Protec Z Surge and Lightning Protection range.  N2G is committed to providing surge and lightning protection solutions that excel, ensuring maximum uptime of your equipment.  We provide technical consulting, design and application engineering and further undertake installations, power quality surveys for the protection of a single sensitive device to comprehensive systems. The Protec Z surge arrester product family has higher energy absorption capabilities in combination with a low protection level. The Protec Z medium-voltage surge arresters protect generators, motors, arc furnaces, dry-type transformers, airfield lighting systems, cable sheathing and converters for drives from overvoltage. The Protec Z medium-voltage arresters optimally protect your transformers and switchgear against switching over voltages and lightning.

Clint Inwood has been the Director and Principle Consultant of N2G since November 2021 with more than more 20 years experience in all aspects of power system engineering, both domestically and internationally.

Clint has extensive experience in the project management, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and commissioning of substations, both primary and secondary plant (Ais and GIS). Clint has further managed projects involving renewables such as PV solar and energy storage technology using batteries. He has a strong knowledge of power utilization equipment and application considerations and has also performed power system studies utilising PowerFactory software as well as Homer Pro and PVSyst software to determine the impact of proposed renewable energy projects on the existing electricity grid as well as advising on the suitability of the proposed sites, configuration, and network infrastructure.

Clint has also conducted numerous independent audits on behalf of SAPN, assessing the non-financial aspects of the AER RINs and ESCoSA reliability reporting proformas and the associated processes used for recording, calculating and reporting network reliability performance to provide assurance that adequate and effective processes have been developed and are applied.
